Summer camps

FROM 7 TO 16 YEARS OLD

Offer our youth the chance to improve their technique during our five-day golf improvement camps.  During this fun and stimulating week, all aspects of the golf game will be covered: rules, etiquette, irons, putting, woods, approach shots, bunker shots, and on course play.

Spots are limited, register quickly!

Maximum of 8 players per group.

SCHEDULE

8am
Arrive at the golf course, explanation of the day, and stretching
9am – 11am Hitting balls with explanations of different technical aspects
11am – 12pm Fun games and friendly competitions
12pm – 1pm Lunch and movie
1:30pm – 4pm Play 9 holes on course

RECREATIONAL JUNIOR

This program is offered to juniors from the ages of 9 to 14 and focuses on their continued development in golf.  The goal is to introduce the junior golfers to technique, strategies, and equipment in addition to mental, physical, and nutritional development which is at the core of the program.

COMPETITIVE JUNIOR

This specialized program in taught in an interactive and educational way, as an excellent introduction to the game of golf.  Development of the: grip, posture, full swing, contact with the ball, games, rules and etiquette.  Fun golf games are played every week to develop the excitement of playing the sport.

This program is focused on the development of basic movement skills.  This period is critical for young golfers, skills learnt during this stage of development are important to their level of play later on in life.

  • 4 mini tournaments “First Tee” including transport

Academic programs

An agreement between the Royal Quebec Golf Club and the Saint-Charles-Garner College that offers the Golf profile in a stimulating environment.

  • Six periods per cycle devoted to golf and physical development of an athlete (one 2 hour training session and two 1 hour training sessions per cycle, in addition to the two periods of physical education)
  • The content of the physical education program is complementary to the development of a golfer in training
  • Courses are supervised by a coach from the Royal Quebec Golf Academy and assistant coach of the Rouge team Or Golf Team from Laval University
  • An annual membership to the PEPS facilities (all sports facilities and golf room)
  • Membership as a “Junior Member” at the Royal Quebec Golf Club which gives them access to the practice area and on course time for the months of May, June, September and October (as per junior member restrictions)
  • Transportation from the Collage to the Royal Quebec Golf Club for the summer season
  • The possibility of completing the Golf profile with a membership to the Royal Quebec Golf Club
  • Students must have their own equipment

LA SEIGNEURIE HIGH SCHOOL
